NIGGUN: HIGOLE NO

This melody is one of the few cantorial recitative motifs, sung by the Chabad disciples. This beautifully stirring melody gives vent to the feelings of craving, request for mercy and absolute faith in the immediate redemption, as brought forth in the words of "Higole No" -- Reveal Yourself

farbrengan six

This niggun was taught by the MittlerRebbe’sKapelya. This melody is an interesting musical composition, divided into four sections, symbolizing the four rungs on the ladder of approach and devotion of man to G-dliness.
The TzemachTzedekexplained that the purpose of the orchestra which played on certain occasions for his father-in-law, the MittelerRebbe, was to prevent him from reaching the state of termination of earthly existence (KlosHanefesh). In his supreme service to the Almighty, the Rebbe could have literally expired unto G-dliness.
